A tree that glows in all the colours of life: with this bead embroidery kit, you’ll let a vibrant tree of life grow, one bead at a time.

From strong, intertwined roots rises a trunk whose golden branches reach far into a circular night sky. Leaves in red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise, blue and violet glow on the branches, like a rainbow caught in the crown. A ring of golden and amber beads frames the design. In many cultures, the tree of life is a symbol of growth, connection and the diversity of life.

The design is already printed in full colour on the natural canvas. Only the highlights are embroidered: the branches, roots, leaves and border. The dark background remains as print and makes the beads glow all the more. Fine symbols show you exactly where each bead belongs, and a video tutorial guides you step by step, so the picture works even if it’s your first time doing bead embroidery. With around 1,305 beads, it’s a lovely project for a cosy weekend or two or three quiet evenings.

Framed, your tree of life becomes a colourful eye-catcher on the wall or shelf, and a special handmade gift, for a birth, a wedding or simply from the heart. Please note: the frame shown in the photos is not included.

It all begins with an idea

It starts with a blank sheet of paper. A designer imagines the moment someone will hold the finished picture in their hands. Perhaps it’s a bird in the morning light, a blossom full of colour or a quiet landscape in the evening sun. She sketches, discards and starts again, until the design isn’t just beautiful but also tells a story.

The picture becomes a plan

Then the real detail work begins. A unique embroidery chart is developed for every design. The designer decides which areas will be embroidered with beads and which will remain as print. She also chooses which colours will catch the light most beautifully, and how many beads it takes to bring a petal to life. Every bead gets its place and its symbol. The result is a plan you can later follow bead by bead, without counting and without second-guessing.

Colour on canvas

The design is printed in vibrant colours and with great precision onto natural artist’s canvas. The chart, with all its symbols, is applied directly to the canvas. What will one day sparkle under your hands begins here as a fine, colourful picture on fabric.

The beads come from Bohemia

Now the beads come into play. They come from Preciosa Ornela in the Czech Republic, where glass beadmaking has a long tradition. The beads are evenly shaped, with rich colours and a shine that makes every design glow. For each kit, exactly the shades the design needs are put together, along with a small reserve, in case a bead ever rolls off the table.

Everything finds its place

Canvas, beads, thread, a fine bead needle from Japan and detailed instructions are carefully put together and placed in a box. The result is a kit with everything ready that you need for a small work of art.

The journey to us in Ticino

From there, the kits travel to us at PerlineBeads in Ticino. We unpack them, look them over and share a little of the joy every time a new design arrives. When you place an order, we pack your kit with care and send it on its way to you.

And then your story begins

You open the box, run your hand over the canvas and pick up the first bead with your needle. From here on, the picture is yours. Every bead you place now tells a little about you: the evening you stitched it, the calm, and the joy when it sparkles in the light for the first time.

Many hands and a great deal of love for detail have made this kit possible. But the last and most beautiful part of the work is yours.

Shipping

We send our items with Swiss Post.

We deliver exclusively to Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Orders with delivery addresses outside these countries cannot unfortunately be processed. Please make sure that the delivery address provided is in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.

Shipping costs

The shipping costs vary depending on the item purchased and are clearly displayed at checkout before purchase.

For Switzerland and Liechtenstein, shipping is free from an order value of CHF 15.00.

Exception: Some of our items are too large or too heavy for shipping by letter post – these must be sent as parcels.
For orders under CHF 15.00 we charge a flat shipping fee of CHF 3.00.

For exceptional items that must be sent as a parcel, the standard parcel rate applies.

Good to know: From a total order value of CHF 150.00, we also cover the shipping costs for these parcel items – delivery is then free of charge.

With the letter post shipping method, tracking is not possible. PerlineBeads accepts no liability for undelivered orders.

We also offer the following additional shipping options:

• Registered mail: CHF 5.80
• Swiss-Express "Mond" (delivery on the next working day between 07:00 - 09:00): CHF 17.00

Right of withdrawal and exchange

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. It is possible to withdraw from the contract with PerlineBeads within 5 days of receiving the goods. The customer may exercise the right of withdrawal within the aforementioned period by expressing it through a request sent by letter or email to the PerlineBeads address.

Defective items / items sent incorrectly

We will exchange them without additional costs. Should an item no longer be available at the time of the complaint, we will issue a voucher for the purchase price. Please note that products in the "Earrings" category are excluded from exchange for hygienic reasons.

Errors / item not to your liking

Compensation is provided in the form of a voucher for the purchase price of the goods. Exchange for another item is not possible. Products complained about for this reason must be returned in perfect condition and in the original packaging.

The shipping costs calculated at the time of placing the order will not be refunded.

The return of an item applies only to that item. Further new products cannot be added to this contribution and require a new order via our website.

Withdrawal in the event of late delivery

Due to seasonal events / holidays, delivery delays may occur over which PerlineBeads has no influence. We therefore ask for more time for deliveries. Should an order not have arrived after 20 working days from the shipping date, we will initiate a loss procedure with Swiss Post upon written request from the customer. In this case, we accept full responsibility for the loss of the order and will resend the order if desired. The withdrawal from the purchase contract between the customer and PerlineBeads can only take place after these 20 working days have elapsed!
